Treatment options explained clearly, not oversold
This treatment hub explains how the main treatment routes fit together so patients can make good decisions. The site is deliberately structured around diagnosis first and treatment second. That matters because the right treatment for a stiff irritable frozen shoulder is not the same as the right treatment for gluteal tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis or knee osteoarthritis.
The pages in this section explain what each treatment is designed to do, what it cannot do, where it tends to work best, and how it should link into a wider rehabilitation plan. In other words, this is not a list of services. It is a decision support library.
The main principle behind the treatment pages
The strongest outcomes usually come from matching the right intervention to the right tissue, at the right time, for the right reason. Physiotherapy remains the foundation for many presentations, but there are times when pain is so irritable that a more targeted intervention such as an ultrasound-guided injection can create room for rehabilitation to progress. There are also presentations where an injection is a poor choice and rehabilitation should remain the main route.
Use this hub to understand those differences. Then move into the comparison pages if you are weighing one route against another.
Most patients choose a same-visit diagnostic pathway
For suitable cases we can assess, explain the likely diagnosis, use ultrasound where it adds value, and discuss whether rehabilitation alone or rehabilitation plus a guided injection is the most sensible next step.
